Kripalu Affiliated Studio

“Kripalu” means, “being compassionate” in Sanskrit, the language of the yoga tradition. For over 25 years, the Kripalu Center (a non-profit organization) has been offering opportunities for yoga practice and other forms of experiential learning. The spirit of compassion for self and others is a cornerstone of a Kripalu Affiliated Studio’s approach to personal transformation and service.

Sterling Studios, LLC has been chosen by the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health to represent their yoga center in the Monadnock Region. This is a great honor. For a Kripalu Affiliated Studio is not a franchise, but an independent studio that has received recognition in offering instructions to individuals and groups in the practice of Kripalu Yoga, pursuing a mission and having values in alignment with those of Kripalu.

Through a combination of classical yoga techniques and elements of contemporary body-mind psychology, PRYT encourages a deeper connection with self. We all have a longing for simplicity, inner peace, and deeper meaning in our lives. As we seek ways to heal our bodies, our spirits, and our lives, we look for outside sources to guide us. But somewhere deep inside we know that we must slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and listen to our own inner voice. PRYT provides this experience.
